Spring, Summer and Fall are all great times to experience the Battenkill. As we depart our summer hours, we still offer weekend experiences on the river  until Columbus weekend, or for a relaxing getaway to the Long Lodge year round!

• River Cleanup: “GIVE BACK BY TAKING OUT”

Sponsored by the Battenkill Conservancy, NY, this season river cleanup will start at 10:30. Meet at BVO, we will assign river sections and divvy you up so a good portion of the river will be cleaned.

• No experience necessary.
• Wear shoes that can get wet as you clamber to get debris.
• Gloves are a good idea.
• Snorkel and mask can help in the deep pools!

 

• We provide a canoe at no charge for your noble efforts.
• We provide trash bags.
• We provide all transportation
